The Pennsylvania PUC granted MC Squared Energy Services, LLC an electric generation supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. The application was first reported by Matters (8/11)
GDF Suez Retail Energy Solutions Receives New License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted GDF Suez Retail Energy Solutions, LLC, d/b/a Think Energy, an electric generation supplier license to serve all sizes of commercial customers at the seven major distribution companies. The application had been first reported in Matters (10/24). As first noted by Matters yesterday, GDF Suez Retail Energy Solutions has begun offering service in Massachusetts and Maryland (12/15).
Metromedia Energy Receives Expanded License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Metromedia Energy, Inc. an expanded natural gas supplier license to include service to small commercial, large commercial, governmental, and industrial customers at UGI Penn Natural Gas, Inc.
LightSky Energy Receives Broker License
The Maryland PSC granted LightSky Energy, LLC an electric broker license to serve residential, commercial, and industrial customers at the four investor-owned utilities.
Quest Energy Solutions Receives New Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Kevin J. Cobb & Associates Inc. d/b/a Quest Energy Solutions an electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. The application was first reported by Matters (7/18)
Ardor Energy Receives New Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Better Cost Control, LLC d/b/a Ardor Energy a natural gas broker license to serve small commercial (under 6,000 MCF annually), large commercial (6,000 MCF or more annually), industrial, and governmental customers within the following local distribution company service territories: Valley Energy, Inc., National Fuel Gas Distribution Corp., UGI Central Penn, UGI Utilities, UGI Penn Natural Gas, The Peoples Natural Gas Company, Equitable Gas Company, Columbia Gas of PA, Inc., Philadelphia Gas Works and PECO.
3Degrees Group Receives Conn. Supplier License
A final Connecticut PURA order granted 3Degrees Group, Inc. an electric supplier license limited to supplying renewable energy credits for the Connecticut Clean Energy Options Program.
