PPL Sees Decline in Residential Migration During Latter Half of December

PPL continues to see a loss of residential customers on competitive supply, as it ended December with fewer migrated residential customers than it had at the start of the month.

Updated data has been unavailable at PPL for several weeks, so the data is compared to data as of December 10.

From December 10 to December 31, PPL saw a net decline of 419 migrated residential accounts. This is a slower pace that the net decline in residential migration of 714 accounts seen from December 4 to December 10.

From December 28 to January 3, PECO saw residential migration grow by a net of 1,600 accounts, up from growth of 1,200 accounts in the immediately prior week.

From December 17 to December 31, Duquesne Light saw residential migration grow by a net of nearly 2,600 accounts.

Updated data for the four FirstEnergy utilities was not available.
