Santanna Energy Services Receives License in New State

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Santanna Natural Gas Corporation d/b/a Santanna Energy Services an electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. The application had been first reported in Matters (12/15).

Supermarket Procurement Co-op Topco Associates Seeks New Aggregator License

Topco Associates LLC d/b/a TopSource LLC applied for a Connecticut electric aggregator license to serve commercial customers. As only reported in Matters (5/18), TopSource is the not-for-resale procurement arm of grocer cooperative Topco Associates LLC, and is in the process of expanding into the procurement of competitive electricity in several states. Members of Topco Associates with Connecticut operations include Big Y Foods, Inc., C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc., and Price Chopper Supermarkets.

Vivint Seeks New Broker License

Home automation provider Vivint, Inc. applied for a District of Columbia electric broker license to serve residential customers.
