The Pennsylvania Office of Consumer Advocate has posted residential natural gas migration data as of January 1, 2012.
The OCA's stats can be found here.
A comparison to October's stats as compiled by Matters can be found here.
From October 1, 2011 to January 1, 2012, UGI Utilities - Gas Division saw residential customers on competitive supply increase by 9,300 accounts, versus a gain of less than 700 customers from July 1, 2011 to October 1, 2011.
PECO saw residential gas customers on competitive supply grow by 4,100 accounts from October 1, 2011 to January 1, 2012, versus growth of 4,800 accounts from July 1, 2011 to October 1, 2011.
Columbia Gas saw residential migration increase by 2,600 accounts from October 1, 2011 to January 1, 2012; a comparison to growth in the prior quarter is not available.
UGI Central Penn also saw its first residential customers on competitive supply in some time (if not all time), with nine shopping customers.
January data for National Fuel Gas Distribution Corp. was not listed by OCA. In the January chart, OCA reported that National Fuel Gas Distribution had 16,120 residential customers on competitive supply as of "October 2011" though an exact date was not provided. This total is higher than the October 1, 2011 data previously reported by OCA for National Fuel Gas Distribution, however, which had been 14,849 residential customers on competitive supply, so presumably the 16,120 data point is some time after October 1, 2011.
