AP Gas & Electric Files Notice of Intent to Offer Prepaid Service

AP Gas & Electric TX, LLC filed a notice of intent with the PUCT to provide retail electric services using a customer prepayment device or system. The filing had been expected since AP Gas & Electric, f/k/a Affordable Power Plan, created a new brand, Zip Energy, for prepaid service (see 8/22). Terms of service were filed confidentially.

Resident Power Supplies N.H. Town

Resident Power said that it has signed an electric supply contract with the Town of Auburn, New Hampshire. Resident Power said that the town can expect to save at least 5% on the supply portion of its electricity bill. Resident Power is a member of the Freedom Energy Logistics family of companies.
