PUCO Approves New Retail Price Adjustment at Vectren

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio accepted a new Retail Price Adjustment of $1.05 per Mcf at Vectren Energy Delivery, which was first reported by Matters yesterday. PUCO also clarified that bidder identities will be made public in 15 days.

Direct Sales Company Dynastar Holdings Completes Reverse Merger

Louisville-based Dynastar Holdings, Inc., a Nevada corporation, announced today completion of a reverse merger in which Dynastar Ventures, Inc., a Delaware corporation, became a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. Dynastar is a direct-sales company that sells electricity in deregulated energy markets, and operates in six states, including Texas, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Maine. Dynastar is also continuing a $2 million private offering.

Constellation Closes on ONEOK Energy Marketing Acquisition

Constellation Energy announced this morning that it has closed the previously reported (see 12/2) acquisition of ONEOK Energy Marketing Company, a retail natural gas marketing company with approximately 26,000 customers.

Liberty Power Receives A+ Ranking from BBB

Liberty Power announced that the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Florida has rated the company as an "A+". The Better Business Bureau review ratings are based on a number of grading elements: complaint history, type of business, time in business, background information, honoring commitments to the BBB, licensing or governmental actions, and advertising issues

FERC to Revoke Market-Based Rate Authority of Eight Companies

FERC said that it will revoke the market based rate authorities of the following companies if they do not file their electric quarterly reports within 15 days: Acacia Energy, Inc.; LBPC Power, Inc.; Nordic Energy, L.L.C.; Nordic Marketing of Illinois, L.L.C.; Nordic Marketing of Michigan, L.L.C.; Nordic Marketing, L.L.C.; Pirin Solutions, Inc.; and Tennessee Power Company. FERC previously said that each company has also not filed its baseline electronic tariff as required (see 1/23)
