Our Energy to Pay $20,000 to Settle PUCT Staff Compliance Audit

Our Energy, LLC would pay $20,000 under a settlement with PUCT Staff to resolve allegations that Our Energy was not in full compliance with 15 provisions of the Substantive Rules (40159).

The allegations resulted from a Staff compliance audit.

Specifically, Staff alleged that Our Energy was not in full compliance with the following:

- P.U.C. SUBST. R. 25.475(c)(2)(G), relating to general contracting requirements. Staff alleged that Our Energy's website did not identify the historical data pertaining to its variable rate product.

- P.U.C. SUBST. R. 25.475(g), relating to the Electricity Facts Label (EFL). Staff alleged that Our Energy utilized an EFL which was not unique for each product offered.

- P.U.C. SUBST. R. 25.474(d)(5)(I), relating to authorization disclosures during internet enrollment. Staff alleged that Our Energy did not properly convey the right of rescission during internet enrollment.

- P.U.C. SUBST. R. 25.474(e)(5)(I), relating to required authorization disclosures during written enrollment. Staff alleged that Our Energy's Letter of Authorization did not properly convey the right of rescission.

Prior to settlement, Our Energy corrected all of the alleged deficiencies
