Integrys Energy Services Expands Natural Gas Service to Three New States

Integrys Energy Services announced this morning the expansion of its energy supply services to include natural gas service in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.

Specifically, Integrys Energy Services will offer natural gas supply to commercial and industrial customers at Baltimore Gas & Electric and Washington Gas Light.

"Entering the natural gas market in this region is a natural move for Integrys Energy Services and complements our existing electricity business. We already have a local presence and have been serving customers for over five years with a seasoned group of energy experts," said Bob Barron, Managing Director, Mid-Atlantic Gas.

Integrys Energy Services' expansion to natural gas in the Baltimore-Washington area was first reported by Matters (see 10/21 and 11/11). Integrys Energy Services previously received licenses in D.C. and Virginia, and its Maryland natural gas supplier license was granted yesterday.
