PPL Sees Residential Customers on Competitive Supply Decline in Past Two Weeks

The number of residential customers on competitive supply at PPL decreased over the past two weeks, according to the latest data from the Pennsylvania PUC.

Updated PPL data was unavailable in the February 1 report, so a week-ago comparison is not possible.
However, from January 22 to February 4, PPL saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply fall by 400. In the immediately prior week (from January 15 to January 21), PPL had recorded a marginal increase (+47) in the number of residential customer on competitive supply.
At PECO, from February 1 to February 7, the amount of residential customers on competitive supply grew by 2,300 accounts, up from growth of 1,500 accounts in the immediately prior week.
At Met-Ed, residential migration growth for the most recent week was 3,300, versus nearly 4,900 in the immediately prior week.
Penelec saw residential migration grow by 3,000 accounts in the most recent week, versus growth of 3,300 a week ago.
Weekly migration growth at West Penn Power was 1,400 accounts, up from 1,200 accounts in the immediately prior week.
Duquesne Light saw residential migration grow by about 850 accounts in the most recent week, versus growth of 1,200 accounts a week ago.
