United Illuminating Reports January Migration Data

United Illuminating has posted electric migration statistics as of January 31, 2012.
The growth in migration from the end of December to end of January was 862 accounts, up from growth of 534 accounts during December.
Residential migration growth during January, versus the December total, was 599 accounts, up from growth of 394 accounts during December.
Notable in the January statistics is that Independence Energy, the network marketing arm of Energy Plus Holdings, has started serving residential customers at UI, with 17 residential accounts.
Mint Energy also went from serving a single commercial account in December to serving 43 commercial accounts in January.
