Website Launches to Market Wind Energy to Pennsylvania Retail Customers

A new website devoted to promoting Pennsylvania-based wind power includes the opportunity for customers to find a retail supplier of wind energy.
ChoosePAWind.com was formed by several wind generators, with support from various sustainability-focused organizations.
Currently, two load-serving retail suppliers are listed on the site.
The first is The Energy Cooperative, which offers wind-sourced supply at PECO.
Additionally, Community Energy, while not a retail supplier itself, also offers load serving retail wind supply at PECO and PPL through the site, through a partnership with Verde Energy.
Otherwise, the companies on the site -- which include AES, EverPower, Penn Wind, and Own Energy, -- offer RECs, or wholesale power [while AES obviously owns several retail suppliers, none is associated with AES' listing on the site, which links to the AES corporate webpage].
