Maryland Approves Settlement Regarding EnerNOC Gap RFP Shortfall

The Maryland PSC adopted without modification a settlement among EnerNOC, PSC Staff, the Office of People's Counsel and several utilities concerning amendments to EnerNOC's "Gap RFP" demand response contracts, which allows EnerNOC to amend the agreements to deliver fewer MW due to EnerNOC's shortfall, but requires EnerNOC to either pay to, or forgo payment from, Maryland ratepayers during the 2012-2015 time period, with the amount foregone redacted (see 1/5 story for discussion)
