Network marketer Ampegy announced today the expansion of its service offerings beyond electricity and natural gas.
Specifically, Ampegy, the network marketing arm of Spark Energy, will now market identity protection, home services, and travel.
"We’ve discovered that our reps want to sell more than just energy, and many of them were unable to do so in states that have yet to deregulate," said Ampegy President Todd Thoman. "Adding more depth to our service offerings, opens doors for our reps to explore new ways to surpass their financial and personal goals."
Ampegy has partnered Cross Country Home Services, PrivacyMaxx, and Xstream Travel, to offer the new services as follows.
• Ampegy Home Assurance – Offers home services protection for big-ticket items not typically covered by homeowners insurance, such as appliances and interior and exterior utility lines. Several plans offered to protect customers from the costs of unexpected repairs and replacement.
• Ampegy Life Protect – Includes a range of identity theft products, including both post and pre-theft options, such as ID theft monitoring and fraud alert assistance.
• Ampegy Vacation Club – Offers exclusive deals and low cost travel options to destinations around the globe.
As part of its service expansion, Ampegy released an enhanced and updated compensation plan along with a limited medical benefits plan to independent reps.
Ampegy said that its flagship service offering, energy, will continue to be a mainstay at the company, but said that the inclusion of new services allows independent representatives to offer a service in every state.
