Liberty Power Announces Lowest 12-Month Rate at ComEd Not Requiring Online Enrollment
Liberty Power said this morning that it is offering the lowest 12-month fixed rate offer at Commonwealth Edison that is available to all customers regardless of the type of enrollment. Liberty Power's 12-month fixed rate is 5.83 cents per kWh, with an early termination fee of $10 per month remaining on the contract. Lower 12-month fixed rates are available on Plug In Illinois (the lowest being Sperian Energy at 5.64 cents per kWh), but those offers are limited to online enrollments, according to the listings on Plug In Illinois. Liberty Power also said that it will provide customers with a 10-day customers' satisfaction guarantee, providing customers with a 10 calendar-day right of rescission that allows them to cancel without penalty. Liberty Power said that, currently, Illinois regulations only require a three day right of rescission on internet and door-to-door sales.
