Maryland Order on Long-Term Capacity Imminent

The Maryland Public Service Commission issued a statement Thursday stating that it will issue its decision in Case 9214 (Request for Proposals for Generation Capacity Resources Under Long-Term Contract) during the week of April 9, 2012, but no later than April 13. The companies that were approved for the initial shortlist were notified in February, at which time the Commission began a rigorous evaluation of the finalists' proposals, the PSC said.
