Trademark Merchant Energy, Backed by Itochu Corp., Receives New Supplier License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Trademark Merchant Energy, LLC an electric supplier license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas. As previously reported, Trademark Merchant Energy is majority owned by Itochu Corp., and is licensed as an Ohio retail gas supplier and Texas retail electric provider, in addition to being engaged in wholesale gas and electric marketing. Affiliate Magnus-Shoreline Gas is an aggregator and marketer of natural gas in Texas.
HIKO Energy Receives License in New State
The Illinois Commerce Commission granted HIKO Energy, LLC an alternative gas supplier license to serve all customer classes at Nicor, the Peoples Gas Light and Coke Company, and North Shore Gas Company. The application was first reported by Matters.
Energy Auction Exchange LLC Seeks License
Energy Auction Exchange LLC, d/b/a Energy AEX, applied for an Ohio electric broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. The company's founders, Kelly Curtis and Gunther Fischli, are also principals at Discovery Energy Utility Audits. Discovery Energy has a current customer audit base of over 10,000 businesses nationally.
PWI Engineering Seeks Broker License
Pennell & Wiltberger Inc. applied for a Pennsylvania broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Doing business as PWI Engineering, the company offers building systems planning, design, and management, including services related to energy and sustainability
