Matters notes that the PUC May chart contains totals for National Fuel Gas Distribution and PECO that are inconsistent with the sum of the individual class data listed on the same chart for each company. In this story, Matters refers to the residential migration levels as listed on the same PUC chart, but such data may be inaccurate.
As listed on the PUC's May report, some 26,626 residential gas customers at PECO were taking competitive supply in May, which represents growth of 6,800 migrated residential accounts versus April. This is up from the growth in monthly residential migration during April at PECO, which had been 2,250 accounts.
From April to May, the number of residential customers on competitive gas supply at UGI Utilities - Gas Division increased by 1,100 accounts, down from the April growth of 2,800.
Other notable growth in the number of residential customers on competitive supply during May, versus the April total, was seen at the following distribution companies:
Columbia Gas: +532
National Fuel Gas Distribution: +316
Peoples Natural Gas: +368
UGI Penn Natural Gas: +101
