NRG Energy Retail Provider to Market as "Compassion Energy"

A Texas retail electric provider owned by NRG Energy has filed to add the trade name "Compassion Energy" to its REP certificate.
Specifically, US Retailers LLC, which markets as Pennywise Power under REP Certification No. 10177, applied for an amendment to the certificate to add the Compassion Energy trade name.
Compassion Energy's website states that, "Competitive pricing and flexible plans from Compassion Energy will be coming soon."
The "Pennywise Power" and "Pennywise" trade names will remain on the certificate as well.
