FTR Energy Services, a Regional Energy Holdings Subsidiary, Seeks License in New State
FTR Energy Services, LLC applied for a Pennsylvania electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. FTR Energy Services, LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Regional Energy Holdings Inc. and is therefore affiliated with Viridian Energy as well as Regional Energy Holdings' other retail supply companies.
Border Energy Receives License in New State
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Border Energy Electric Services Inc. an electric supplier license to serve residential, small commercial (25 kW and under demand), large commercial (over 25 kW demand), industrial, and governmental customers in the electric distribution company service territories of PECO Energy Company and PPL Electric Utilities Corporation.
Hess Small Business Services Receives License in New State
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Hess Small Business Services, LLC a natural gas supplier license to serve small commercial (under 6,000 MCF annually), large commercial (6,000 MCF or more annually), industrial, and governmental customers within the following local distribution company service territories within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania: UGI Utilities, Inc. (Gas Division), UGI Central Penn Gas, Inc., UGI Penn Natural Gas Company, PECO Energy Company-Gas, and Philadelphia Gas Works.
Hiko Energy Receives License in New State
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Hiko Energy LLC a natural gas supplier license to serve residential, small commercial (less than 6,000 mcf annually), large commercial (6,000 mcf or more annually), industrial, and governmental customers in the service territories of PECO Energy Company and UGI Utilities, Inc. The PUC conditioned the granting of the license on a series of reporting conditions, previously tentatively proposed and imposed on Hiko when it was granted an electric supplier license earlier this month (See prior story for specific conditions).
FairPoint Communications Receives Electric License
The Maine PUC granted Northern New England Telephone Operations LLC d/b/a FairPoint Communications - NNE an electric aggregator/broker license to serve the residential and small and medium non-residential customer classes throughout Maine. As previously reported, FairPoint Communications has a marketing agreement with retail supplier Fairpoint Energy, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Regional Energy Holdings, Inc. that was formerly known as Viridian Energy MD, LLC
