IDT Energy Begins Offering Residential Service in New State

IDT Energy has expanded its electric and natural gas supply offers to Maryland.
Currently, IDT Energy's website includes residential enrollment for electric service at Baltimore Gas & Electric, Pepco, and Delmarva.
Residential natural gas service is available at BGE as well.
The residential offers are variable prices. Current rates were not immediately available; and are not yet listed by the Office of People's Counsel comparison chart, or on the PSC shopping page.
IDT Energy is offering new customers rebates of up to $75 for electric service, and $50 for gas service, if the customer remains with IDT, and in good standing, for at least three months. The actual rebate amount will vary with usage.
IDT Energy is also currently preparing to enter additional territories in Maryland as well, it said during an earnings call today (see related story today)
Commercial service is also available in Maryland.
