Perigee Energy, LLC, a Texas-based start-up, has applied for a retail electric supplier license in Connecticut.
As only reported by Matters earlier this month, Perigee Energy is preparing to launch as a retail energy supplier, and was Phase I EDI certified in New York on August 8. It has also applied for FERC market-based rate authority.
Now, Perigee has applied for a Connecticut electric supplier license to serve all customer classes.
As previously reported, Perigee is a wholly owned subsidiary of Apogee Holdings, LLC. Apogee Holdings, LLC is owned by three individuals, namely, David B. Geyer, Scott M. Childs, and Steven D. Guy, each owning thirty-three and one third percent (33.33%).
Geyer serves as CEO of Perigee; Childs serves as CFO & COO; and Guy serves as Chief Marketing Officer.
Those same three individuals are also managing partners of risk management and energy procurement consultant DaCott Energy Services.
Additionally, Perigee reported that Kathryn Tozzini will serve as Vice President, Customer Operations. In addition to several senior roles at MXenergy, Tozzini was previously Executive Vice President of Business Development for U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. and President of the Natural Gas Division of Public Power, LLC.
