Start-up Kleantricity, Inc. Receives Supplier License in New State

The Delaware PSC granted Kleantricity, Inc. an electric supplier license to serve residential and small commercial customers. As only reported by Matters, Kleantricity is an affiliate of TrueLight Energy, LLC, a wholesale energy services company that is entering the retail market.

Start-up Ethical Electric Receives Supplier License in New State

The Pennsylvania PUC this morning granted Ethical Electric Benefit Co. d/b/a Ethical Electric an electric generation supplier license to serve to residential, small commercial (25 kW and under demand), and large commercial (over 25 kW demand) customers in all service territories. Community Energy, Inc. Receives License as Load-Serving Supplier

The Pennsylvania PUC this morning granted Community Energy, Inc. a license as a load-serving retail electric generation supplier, serving all customer classes at PECO, Met-Ed, PPL, Duquesne Light, and West Penn Power. Community Energy's expansion to load-serving supply was first reported by Matters. REC marketer and renewable energy developer Community Energy had previously been licensed as a Pennsylvania aggregator and broker/marketer.

Metromedia Energy Receives Expanded Supplier License

The Pennsylvania PUC this morning granted Metromedia Energy, Inc. an amended natural gas supplier license to serve small commercial (less than 6,000 MCF annually), large commercial (6,000 MCF or more annually), governmental, and industrial customers in the additional service territories of Peoples Natural Gas Company LLC and Philadelphia Gas Works. Metromedia Energy had been previously authorized to serve such customers at Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, Inc., Equitable Gas Company, National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation, UGI Utilities, Inc., PECO Energy Company, UGI Central Penn Gas, Inc., Peoples TWP LLC, Valley Energy, and UGI Penn Natural Gas.
