The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, via Secretarial Letter, announced a meeting to be hosted by the Commission's Office of Competitive Market Oversight (OCMO) which, "[a]ll electric generation suppliers (EGSs) marketing to or serving residential customers are expected to attend."

The meeting will be October 22 in Harrisburg.

"The purpose of this meeting is for OCMO to outline the Commission's regulatory requirements applicable to EGSs who are marketing to or serving residential customers," the PUC said.

"In addition, OCMO will discuss the types of informal complaints that have been filed by consumers against EGSs and pass along general observations about the market that have been shared by customers. Another segment of the meeting will focus on www.PAPowerSwitch.com and offer suggestions to EGSs participating in that forum."

"OCMO strongly encourages in-person participation in this meeting," the PUC said.

The letter was filed in Docket No: M-2009-2082042.
