The growth in the number of residential natural gas customers on competitive supply at Public Service Electric and Gas fell precipitously during August versus the July growth, according to the latest stats from the BPU.
The BPU has posted natural gas migration data, including accounts and load migrated, as of August 2012 (click here).
A comparison by Matters of accounts migrated in August 2012, versus July 2012, can be found here.
From July 2012 to August 2012, PSE&G saw the number of residential gas customers on competitive supply increase by less than 800 accounts, or less than 10% of the July growth of 10,200 accounts, which had been a spike versus the growth seen during most of the year.
