Perigee Energy Seeks License in New States
Perigee Energy, LLC applied for an Ohio electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Perigee Energy also said in its application that it has applied for a Massachusetts electric supplier license. Perigee Energy is licensed in New York and Connecticut and anticipates market entry in each state in November 2012 and December 2012, respectively. The launch of start-up Perigee Energy was first reported by Matters (see prior story for background)
Iron Energy Receives Licenses in New State
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Iron Energy LLC electric and natural gas supplier licenses to serve all customer classes in all service areas. As only reported by Matters, Iron Energy is led by David Luppino, Chad Gallun, and Michael Elhaj, who previously founded and led Texas retail provider Chain Lakes Power (Simple Power).
Viridian Network Seeks New License
Viridian Network, LLC applied for a District of Columbia natural gas broker license to serve all customer classes.
Mid-Coast Energy Systems Seeks New License
Mid-Coast Energy Systems, Inc. applied for a Maine electric broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Mid-Coast Energy Systems provides plumbing, heating, electrical, A/C, and solar services.
