Strong Weekly Migration Continues at PECO, PPL, West Penn Power

Strong weekly growth in the number of residential customers on competitive electric supply continued at PECO, PPL, and West Penn Power, according to the October 31 migration data from the Pennsylvania PUC.

From October 24 to October 30, PECO saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 3,400 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 3,900. A new, higher residential Price to Compare took effect at PECO on October 1.
From October 21 to October 27, PPL saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 2,200 accounts, which was even with the week-ago growth.
From October 24 to October 31, West Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 1,700 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 2,100 accounts.
From October 24 to October 31, Penelec saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by about 1,100 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 900 accounts.
From October 21 to October 27, Duquesne Light saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 900 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 950 accounts.
From October 24 to October 31, Met-Ed saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 320 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 260 accounts.
From October 24 to October 31, Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 180 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 100 accounts.
