Texas Staff Propose Updated Interest Rates Applicable to REP Deposits, Over-billings

Staff of the Public Utility Commission of Texas have filed proposed interest rates, applicable to retail electric providers and utilities, for over-billings and under-billings and for customer deposits for calendar year 2013.

Consistent with adopted methodologies, the proposed interest rate for customer deposits for 2013 is 0.12%, the same as the current rate.

The proposed interest rate for over-billings and under-billings is 0.21%. The current interest rate for over-billings and under-billings is 0.22%.
