Stream Energy Offering Electricity, Gas in New States

Stream Energy has begun offering electricity in New York and natural gas in Pennsylvania.
Both market entries had been first reported by Matters (New York, Pennsylvania).
In New York, Stream launched with electric service at New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E).
"The Empire State is the next logical addition to the Stream Energy family of jurisdictions and we’re looking forward to rolling out additional New York service territories in the near future. And we're looking forward to more states to be also added soon following," said Stream Energy Chairman Rob Snyder.
Residential offers in New York are as follows:
NYSEG East
• 12-Month Plan: First 2 months fixed @ 5.72¢/kWh, followed by 10 months fixed @ 6.34¢/kWh
• Month-to-Month Plan: Variable, currently 6.35¢/kWh
NYSEG West
• 12-Month Plan: First 2 months fixed @ 5.08¢/kWh, followed by 10 months fixed @ 5.64¢/kWh
• Month-to-Month Plan: Variable, currently 5.59¢/kWh
RGE
• 12-Month Plan: First 2 months fixed @ 5.22¢/kWh, followed by 10 months fixed @ 5.78¢/kWh
• Month-to-Month Plan: Variable, currently 5.78¢/kWh
The 12-month products include an early termination fee of $150.
Stream has also expanded its natural gas service to Pennsylvania, where it now offers gas supply at PECO.
At PECO, Stream is offering the following residential gas supply plans:
• 6 Months Fixed @ 48.80¢/therm
• Monthly Variable, currently @ 48.90¢/therm
The 6-month product includes an early termination fee of $100.
