Viridian Launches Service in Two New Markets

Viridian Energy has officially launched electric service in Delaware and the District of Columbia.
Both market entries had been first reported by Matters
At Pepco in D.C., Viridian is offering the following residential products:
• Monthly Variable, 20% Renewable, currently @ 7.38¢/kWh
• Monthly Variable, 100% Wind, currently @ 9.70¢/kWh
• 6 Months Fixed, 20% Renewable @ 8.66¢/kWh.
• 6 Months Fixed, 100% Wind @ 10.16¢/kWh
At Delmarva in Delaware, Viridian is offering the following residential products:
• Monthly Variable, 20% Renewable, currently @ 7.82¢/kWh
• Monthly Variable, 100% Wind, currently @ 10.19¢/kWh
• 6 Months Fixed, 20% Renewable @ 9.23¢/kWh.
• 6 Months Fixed, 100% Wind @ 10.73¢/kWh
The 6-month products include an early termination fee of $50.
Viridian has also launched GenVCares, an affinity campaign for hurricane relief that will donate one dollar to the American Red Cross for every new customer enrollment, Facebook share and comment on GenVCares graphic posts and Twitter Retweet up to $10,000
