United Illuminating Sees Monthly Migration to Competitive Supply More Than Doubles

United Illuminating has posted electric migration statistics as of October 31, 2012.

A comparison by Matters to migration data as of September 30, 2012 may be found here (includes individual customer counts and change for each supplier).

The growth in the number of customers on competitive supply from the end of September to the end of October at UI was nearly 2,000 accounts, versus the growth of less than 900 accounts from the end of August to the end of September.

Residential migration growth during October, versus the September total, was 1,950 accounts, versus the September growth of 815 accounts.
