TXU Energy Reports Customer Engagement with Energy Management Tools
TXU Energy reported yesterday customer engagement with certain energy management tools offered by TXU. TXU reported:
• More than 6 million customer transactions completed through txu.com.
• More than 1 million transactions completed through m.txu.com and native mobile apps for iOS and Android devices.
• Nearly 750,000 customer interactions with TXU Energy MyEnergy Dashboard.
• More than 100,000 downloads of the iOS and Android apps.
ENCOA Formally Launches Nicor Gas Service
ENCOA yesterday formally announced its launch of natural gas service at Nicor. The Nicor service had been first reported by Matters earlier this month.
Texas Assigns Dockets for ERCOT CDR Input Review; Demand Response Rulemaking
The Public Utility Commission of Texas has assigned Docket 41060 for a Proceeding to Examine the Inputs included in the ERCOT Capacity Demand and Reserves Report (see prior story), and Docket 41061 for a Rulemaking Regarding Demand Response in the ERCOT Market (see prior story).
FirstEnergy Names Mark Clark Executive Vice President, Finance and Strategy
FirstEnergy Corp. named Mark T. Clark executive vice president, Finance and Strategy. Clark previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). "Mark will continue providing strategic input for the direction of the company and will oversee the Finance, Risk, Information Technology and Supply Chain groups," said Anthony J. Alexander, president and chief executive officer, FirstEnergy. "Mark's focus on strategy – and his deep understanding of our company and industry – will help us continue to position the company to take advantage of new opportunities for growth as the economy improves."
