The Michigan PSC has adopted revised license applications to be used by prospective alternative electric suppliers and alternative natural gas suppliers.
Most notably, in both the new electric and natural gas applications, certain required disclosures relating to prior defaults, legal actions, and other adverse actions must now include those taken against the applicant as well as, "an affiliate or subsidiary of the applicant, or a predecessor in interest of the applicant, or an owner, shareholder, principal, officer, executive or director associated with the applicant."
The prior language for required disclosures only referenced the applicant and any predecessor.
Furthermore, applicants must now disclose whether the applicant, or any of the parties related to the applicant as described above, have, "[e]xited the market due to the imposition of any energy related penalties or finings."
Case No. U-11915 & Case No. U-13694
