Boom: PECO Sees Residential Shopping Growth of Nearly 10,000 for Week

Reversing a week-ago loss, PECO saw the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply increase by nearly 10,000 accounts during the most recent week, according to the December 27 stats from the Pennsylvania PUC.

From December 19 to December 26 (date listed in the PUC report), PECO saw the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply increase by 9,300 accounts, versus the week-ago loss of 531 residential shoppers.
From December 20 to December 26, West Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 1,500 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,750 accounts.
From December 20 to December 26, Met-Ed saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by over 1,000 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,150 accounts.
From December 20 to December 26, Penelec saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 950 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,050 accounts.
During the most recent week, Duquesne Light saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 744 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 626 accounts.
From December 20 to December 26, Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 333 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 238 accounts.
Updated data for PPL was not included in the December 27 migration report.
