Frontier Communications Launches Retail Energy Supply in New State

Frontier Communications has formally launched marketing of electric and natural gas offers in Ohio, with supply provided by FTR Energy Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Crius Energy.
Frontier Communications is marketing electricity at AEP Ohio (both rate zones) and Dayton Power and Light, and is marketing natural gas at Dominion East Ohio, Columbia Gas, and Vectren Energy Delivery.
The initial Ohio markets were first reported by Matters last month.
Current residential offers are as follows:
AEP Ohio - Columbus Southern Power Zone
12 Months Fixed, 100% Green: 6.72¢/kWh
Variable, 100% Green: 6.71¢/kWh
AEP Ohio - Ohio Power Zone
12 Months Fixed, 100% Green: 6.52¢/kWh
Variable, 100% Green: 6.41¢/kWh
Dayton Power & Light
12 Months Fixed, 100% Green: 7.03¢/kWh
Variable, 100% Green: 6.83¢/kWh
Dominion East Ohio
12 Months Fixed: $5.05/mcf
Variable: $5.10/mcf
Columbia Gas
12 Months Fixed: 52.90¢/ccf
Variable: 53.90¢/ccf
Vectren Energy Delivery
6 Months Fixed: 50.90¢/ccf
Variable: 51.50¢/ccf
There are no early termination fees associated with any of the products.
