The Illinois Commerce Commission granted North Eastern States, Inc. an alternative natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes at Nicor, Peoples Gas, North Shore Gas, and Ameren. As first reported by Matters, North Eastern States is an affiliate of Texas retail provider Entrust Energy. North Eastern States, Inc. also recently received an Illinois electric supplier license.
