Texas Retail Provider to Relinquish Certificate
Trademark Merchant Energy, LLC filed at the Public Utility Commission of Texas to relinquish its retail electric provider certificate, stating that it has no customers. In most other jurisdictions, Trademark Merchant Energy is licensed as an electric broker, rather than as an electric supplier as it was licensed in Texas.
Murray Oil Company Seeks License in New State
South Arm Inc. d/b/a Murray Oil Company applied for a Maine electric broker license to serve residential customers at Central Maine Power.
U.S. Power Trade, LLC Receives License in New State
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted U.S. Power Trade, LLC an electric broker/aggregator license to serve commercial customers in all service areas. As previously reported by Matters, US Power Trade LLC is a start-up led by Robert Rizzitano, former Channel Partner Director at Coastal Energy. US Power Trade LLC will offer an electronic platform for energy procurement in 10 states.
Rosenthal Energy Advisors Receives License in New State
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Rosenthal Energy Advisors, Inc. an electric broker/aggregator license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.
