Silver Bear Energy Seeks Supplier Licenses in More New States

SBR Energy, LLC d/b/a Silver Bear Energy applied for a Maine electric supplier license to serve all customer classes at Central Maine Power, Bangor Hydro-Electric, and Maine Public Service. As first reported by Matters, SBR Energy, originally a New York ESCO, "is embarking on an aggressive expansion plan in 2013," to serve both electric and natural gas customers outside of New York. As previously reported, SBR Energy has also applied for Ohio and Pennsylvania electric supplier licenses, and the Maine application disclosed that SBR Energy has applied for a Massachusetts supplier license as well.

Compass Energy Services Seeks to Serve Customers in Additional Territories

Compass Energy Services, Inc. d/b/a Compass Energy Gas Services, LLC applied for an amended Pennsylvania natural gas supplier license to serve customers at PECO and Peoples Natural Gas. Compass Energy Services is currently authorized to serve non-residential customers at Columbia, Equitable, National Fuel Gas Distribution, UGI, and UGI Central Penn. Compass Energy Services said that it would later file an amendment to serve customers at the remaining LDCs once receiving letters from each LDC attesting that Compass Energy Services has met the LDC's creditworthiness standard.

Best Practice Energy LLC applied for a Pennsylvania electric broker/marketer license to serve all sizes of non-residential customers in all service areas.

Integrity Energy Seeks New License

Integrity Energy, LTD applied for an Ohio natural gas broker license to serve all sizes of non-residential customers in all service areas.
