New Hampshire PUC Issues Show Cause Order to Retail Supplier, Aggregator

The New Hampshire PUC has issued an order, "to consider whether to assess penalties against or revoke the registration of PNE Energy Supply, a competitive provider of energy supply service and of Resident Power, an entity that aggregates customers to obtain a better price from the competitive energy supply market on behalf of those customers." The PUC's action follows a Staff request for a show cause order regarding both entities (click here for more details). A hearing has been scheduled for March 20-22, 2013, DE 13-059 & DE 13-060.


WGES Signs District of Columbia for 100% Wind Power

The District of Columbia Department of General Services (DGS) has signed a one-year contract for 100 percent wind power from Washington Gas Energy Services (WGES). The contract builds upon the prior contract the Government of the District of Columbia had with WGES for 50 percent wind power.
