Delmarva to Significantly Decrease Residential POR Discount Rates

Delmarva Power & Light has filed with the Maryland PSC proposed new purchase of receivables discount rates for the period beginning June 1, 2013. The proposed new discount rates are:

Residential:           0%
Type I:                0%
Type II:               0.1987%
Hourly:                0%

Each of the classes with a zero discount rate had a calculation which resulted in a negative discount rate, but was set to zero consistent with PSC precedent.

For comparison, the current discount rates are:

Residential:           2.1523% 
Type I:                0%
Type II:               0.7860%
Hourly:                0%
