Mirabito Natural Gas Receives Supplier License in New State

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Mirabito Natural Gas, LLC a natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes at UGI Penn Natural Gas, Inc., UGI Central Penn Gas, Inc., and Valley Energy, Inc. As previously reported by Matters, the owners of Mirabito Natural Gas, LLC also own Mirabito Holdings, Inc., which is a wholesale and retail supplier and marketer of oil, propane and other energy supplies in the Northeastern U.S., including Pennsylvania. Among other things, Mirabito Holdings, Inc.'s specific activities include the operation of a convenience store chain with 55+ locations (under the Mirabito, Quickway, and Convenience Express brands) and a home heating fuel delivery business, which also offers various service and contracting plans and equipment

Unity Electric Discount Receives Authority to Serve Customers in New Territories

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Unity Electric Discount, LLC an expanded electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes at Duquesne Light Company, Metropolitan Edison Company, PPL Electric Utilities Corporation and UGI Utilities, Inc. in addition to serving such customers at PECO.

Ethical Electric Benefit Co. Granted Approval for New Trade Name

The Pennsylvania PUC approved an amendment to the electric license of Ethical Electric Benefit Co. to add the trade name Clean Energy Option.
