New Retail Supplier Launches Service in Ohio

Kona Energy has begun offering electric service in Ohio.
Specifically, Kona Energy is now offering residential and commercial electricity at the FirstEnergy Ohio utilities.
For residential customers at Ohio Edison, Toledo Edison, and Cleveland Electric Illuminating, Kona Energy is offering the following (in ¢/kWh):
12 Months Fixed: 5.99¢
18 Months Fixed: 5.99¢
24 Months Fixed: 6.09¢
The products include a $100 early termination fee.
Kona Energy is a trade name for Iron Energy, LLC.
As first reported by Matters, Kona Energy is led by David Luppino, Chad Gallun, and Michael Elhaj, who previously founded and led Texas retail provider Chain Lakes Power (Simple Power)
