FirstEnergy Solutions Launches Cash Back Plans, Offering Seven-Year Products with No Early Termination Fee

FirstEnergy Solutions has launched cash back electricity plans in several states, and is now offering seven-year fixed electric rates with no early termination fees.
The cash back plans, offering residential customers 3% cash back, are available at AEP Ohio, Ohio Edison, Cleveland Electric Illuminating and Toledo Edison in Ohio; Duquesne Light, Met-Ed, PECO, Penelec, Penn Power and West Penn Power in Pennsylvania; and Potomac Edison in Maryland.
Customers in the cash back program will earn 3% on their charges paid to FirstEnergy Solutions, which will be paid annually through a Visa prepaid card (minimum reward of $10, maximum of $500)
Cash-back plan residential pricing is as follows (¢/kWh):
AEP Ohio: 3 Years Fixed: 6.49¢ 7 Years Fixed: 6.99¢ FirstEnergy Ohio utilities: 3 Years Fixed: 5.49¢ 7 Years Fixed: 6.99¢ Duquesne Light: 3 Years Fixed: 6.95¢ 7 Years Fixed: 7.50¢ Met-Ed 3 Years Fixed: 7.40¢ 7 Years Fixed: 7.50¢ PECO 3 Years Fixed: 7.85¢ 7 Years Fixed: 7.75¢ Penelec 3 Years Fixed: 6.85¢ 7 Years Fixed: 7.50¢ Penn Power 3 Years Fixed: 5.75¢ 7 Years Fixed: 6.99¢ West Penn Power 3 Years Fixed: 5.25¢ 7 Years Fixed: 6.99¢ Potomac Edison 3 Years Fixed: 5.99¢ 7 Years Fixed: 6.99¢
All cash back plans include an early termination fee of $100.
FirstEnergy Solutions also launched seven-year fixed electricity offers with no early termination fees at AEP Ohio and Dayton Power & Light in Ohio.
At both AEP Ohio and Dayton Power & Light, the seven-year fixed rate offered to residential customers is 6.99¢/kWh, with no early termination fee.
