Carbon Credit Marketer to Launch Retail Energy Supplier in U.S.

Carbnfoot, Inc., a Canadian carbon credit marketing company, is launching a retail energy supplier in the United States.

Specifically, Utility Bid USA, LLC d/b/a Rate Buster Energy has applied for market-based rate authority at FERC.

Utility Bid USA said that it intends to act as a retail energy supplier in various jurisdictions in the United States, and said that it will sell electricity and natural gas at retail.

John Nassar is the president of Utility Bid.

Utility Bid USA is affiliated with several companies, including Canadian retail suppliers Blue Power Distributed Energy Corp. and Blue Power NG Corp. f/k/a MorEnergy Saving Corp. Additionally, Utility Bid USA is affiliated with several residential energy equipment financing companies, including Utilebill Credit Corp. and morEnergy Services, Inc.
