FirstEnergy Solutions Expands ChamberChoice Residential Offering at PPL

FirstEnergy Solutions said that it is now offering residential customers at PPL in Pennsylvania a fixed rate of 6.35 cents per kWh through June 2016 through an affinity program with ChamberChoice. Although offers have been made available to Chamber members and their employees in the past, this is the first time a residential offer has been extended to the entire community, the companies said. ChamberChoice is a group purchasing firm serving Pennsylvania chambers of commerce


Crius Energy Signs Branding Agreement with Telecom Provider

Retail supplier holding company Crius Energy announced that it has renewed its agreement, for a three-year term, with Cincinnati Bell to continue marketing natural gas and green energy through Cincinnati Bell Energy. Crius Energy's various retail supply companies serve over 530,000 residential customer equivalents.


Retail Suppliers to Receive Smart Meter Customer Lists As Duke Ohio Settlement Approved

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio approved a rate case stipulation at Duke Energy Ohio that includes a requirement for Duke Energy Ohio to provide retail suppliers with names and addresses from the eligible customer list where Duke Energy Ohio has installed a Smart Meter/AMI with two-way interval data communication capabilities
