TXU Energy Sweepstakes Offers Year of Free Electricity

TXU Energy said that it launched its second annual Beat the Heat Sweepstakes to give consumers a chance to win a grand prize of free electricity for up to 12 months (up to $3,000 in credits total). Customers enrolling with TXU are automatically entered into the sweepstakes, as are existing customers opting for paperless billing or creating an online account profile. Other prizes include, among other things, tickets to a Dallas Mavericks game or $100 in TXU's Brighten Online Energy Store credits.
