Pennsylvania Issues Settlements with Two Retail Suppliers Over Marketing Violations for Comment

The Pennsylvania PUC has issued for comment two settlements between PUC Staff and retail energy suppliers which would resolve investigations into alleged marketing and other violations by the suppliers.
The separate settlements, with AP Gas & Electric (PA), LLC, d/b/a APG&E and with IDT Energy, Inc., had been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com. See prior stories for full details on the settlements

As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, APG&E agreed to pay $43,200 under the settlement to resolve all allegations of slamming and related unauthorized actions resulting from an informal investigation into APG&E's marketing practices as an EGS in Pennsylvania.
As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, IDT agreed to pay $39,000 under the settlement to resolve all allegations of slamming and fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful sales and marketing actions arising under an informal investigation by PUC Staff.
