GDF Suez's Think Energy Receives Authority to Serve Residential Customers in New State

The Pennsylvania PUC granted GDF Suez Retail Energy Solutions LLC d/b/a Think Energy an expanded retail electric supplier license to include service to residential customers at Duquesne Light, Met-Ed, PECO, PPL, Penelec, Penn Power, and West Penn Power. Think Energy had previously been authorized to serve non-residential customers in these service areas.

Constellation Energy Receives Authority to Serve Residential Customers in New Service Areas

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Constellation Energy Gas Choice, Inc. an expanded natural gas supplier license to include service to all customers at PECO, Peoples Natural Gas, Philadelphia Gas Works, and UGI. Constellation Energy Gas Choice, the former MXenergy which is focused on serving the mass market, was previously authorized to serve customers at Columbia Gas.

BP Energy Receives Expanded Retail Supplier License to Serve New Territories

The Pennsylvania PUC granted BP Energy Company an expanded natural gas supplier license to include service to large commercial (6,000 Mcf or more annually), industrial and governmental customers at Peoples Natural Gas Company LLC and Peoples TWP LLC. BP was previously authorized to serve such non-residential customers at Columbia Gas and UGI.

Avion Energy Receives New License

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Avion Energy Group, LLC a natural gas broker/aggregator license to serve all customer classes in all service areas
