Affiliate of Texas REP Receives Licenses in Northeast State

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Frontier Utilities Northeast, LLC electric and natural gas supplier licenses to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Start-up Retail Supplier Led by Ex-Direct/Strategic Veterans Receives Authority to Serve Customers in New Territories

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Guttman Energy Inc. an expanded natural gas supplier license to serve all sizes of non-residential customers at Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, Equitable Gas Company, National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation and Philadelphia Gas Works, in addition to Peoples Natural Gas Company LLC and Peoples TWP LLC. As previously reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, Guttman Energy is a new retail supplier being launched by Northeast petroleum marketer Guttman Oil, and which counts several veterans of Direct Energy Business and Strategic Energy among its management (click here for more). In addition to the Direct and Strategic veterans who initially joined Guttman, Mike Senff recently joined Guttman Energy as President of the Natural Gas & Power Division. Senff had previously served as interim President of Direct Energy Business, and was previously Vice President, North American Sales and Marketing, for Direct Energy.

The Pennsylvania PUC granted FTR Energy Services, LLC electric and natural gas supplier licenses to serve all customer classes in all service areas.

Viridian Energy Receives Authority to Serve Customers in New Territory

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Viridian Energy PA, LLC an amended Pennsylvania electric supplier license to include service to all customer classes at Met-Ed. Viridian was previously authorized to serve all customer classes at PPL, Duquesne Light and PECO.
