NRG, Comcast Expand Energy Rewards Bundle to New Territory With 4¢ Rate

NRG Energy and Comcast are now offering their Energy Rewards energy supply bundle at West Penn Power in Pennsylvania.

At launch, Energy Rewards was only available to Comcast subscribers at Duquesne Light.

Now, at West Penn Power, Energy Rewards is offering Comcast residential subscribers a 12-month fixed rate of 4.932¢/kWh.

Energy Rewards is also offering West Penn Power residential customers a monthly variable rate, currently priced at 4.438¢/kWh, that is guaranteed to be 10% below the West Penn Power RS Price to Compare for the first six months.

There are no early cancellation fees for either product. New customers receive a $25 Visa Prepaid Card enrollment bonus, as well as three months of HBO or Showtime. Additionally, the offer includes a free smart thermostat with XFINITY Home, Comcast's home automation and security service

Energy Rewards customers will also earn milestone rewards every six months, such as two free Fandango movie tickets.

Additionally, Energy Rewards customers receive 20% off Fandango gift cards and special access to local movie screenings and sweepstakes
