Retail Suppliers Among Top 20 Direct Selling Association Member Companies

The Direct Selling Association (DSA) has announced the 20 Largest DSA Member Companies for 2014. The ranking is based on net U.S. sales in 2013. Retail energy suppliers included in the top 20, which did not include individual rankings, are Ambit Energy and Stream Energy

eBay Relinquishes Market-Based Rate Authority

eBay Inc. has submitted a notice to FERC to cancel its market-based rate tariff and surrender its market-based rate authority. The impetus of eBay's original MBR application, which was first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, had been eBay's development of a 6 MW fuel cell generation facility in Utah, with the primary purpose of providing power to an eBay data center at that site. Utah has since adopted legislation addressing eBay's specific renewable electricity supply desires despite not having a true customer choice program.
